Meet Our Founder
Brian D. Stephenson, CPA is the Founder of STEPHENSON ACCOUNTING, LLC. His experience with tax planning and consulting has allowed him to help guide business owners in successfully achieving their goals, while minimizing their tax burden. Brian has specialized knowledge in the areas of Entity Structure, Transaction Planning, Flow-Through Reporting and Multi-State Taxation. His industry experience is vast, with a higher concentration in the Real Estate, Construction, Automotive, Manufacturing, Technology and Service Industries.
Prior to founding STEPHENSON ACCOUNTING, LLC in 2022, Brian’s career in public accounting began in 1996, including time with BDO, Deloitte, and Vestal & Wiler. He earned both his Accounting and Master’s in Taxation degrees from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Brian is a member of the AICPA and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
